The Soft Fabric of the Season: Velvet

One of this fall’s biggest trends you will see on and off the runways is Velvet. It took me a little while to adjust to the thought of this because at first all I thought of was the velvet baby doll dresses I used to wear as a kid, but then I saw the velvet ankle boots and leggings (as opposed to my classic leather) and was sold. Not only is velvet a thick and flattering fabric, but it is also comfortable. It does not itch, it feels soft to the touch, and looks really clean.
